grad night 2006 is officially over! no more last min frantic shopping trips. no more spending that amt of money! (at least not for now)

we checked in the hotel at abt 2plus in the afternoon then those who wanted makeup with the makeup artist started their make up. i decided to do the make up myself since i felt i had all the cosmetics and tools needed i might as well save money and DIY. woah was damn glad it turned out okay.

but i must say that grad night this year was gd. though most pple didn't go with the theme (yes i was one of them but not the only one) but it was still a night of glam and retro combined. and OH the food was quite horrible! i thought was not as gd as last years at Grand Corpthorne but perhaps they spent more money on the lucky draw prizes because the prizes are REALLY REALLY GOOD this year! ahh!

the 1st prize was 8GB (yes it's EIGHT GB) iPOD nano laa! that guy who won it must happy like mad! 2nd prize was 6megapixel (yes it's SIX) Olympus digi cam and some vouchers. guess who won it? PRES! he was damn lucky la.. to think he still said he didn't bring his cam that night yet he won a cam. there were other prizes like Crumpler bags.. hampers. really damn good. but i didn't win anything. LOL! but it doesn't matter la.

it's great to see a different side of pple all dressed up and everything. some pple look so different from their normal sch appearance they can't be recognized at just one look. but it was fun la. some catching up and cam-whoring. nobody really bothered about the food. which was quite horrible. prom king and prom queen winners were worthy of their win. so yeah. quite a wellplanned event all in all.

post prom was kinda boring like there was nothing much to do, cuz we weren't clubbing. oh my clique went to swensens to eat somemore after the dinner. lol! after that andy&claire went off whilst i went with some of our classmates went to play pool. after which some of them left then gen and i went back to the room at 5plus and slpt. checked out at 11. breakfast. home.

i dunno why i thought i had more fun at the after prom last year than this year. this year was quite boring. but well i still enjoyed myself! photos up soon!
